Radart is the solo works of producer and label head Dylan Batelic, founder of the DIY imprint, party series and DJ alias Paper-Cuts, and co-founder of sister project un:send alongside Kia (Animalia), Kasun (Temporal Cast) and OK EG.
Drawing on turn-of-the-century chill-out, the live project moves across ambient, downtempo, breaks and trip-hop, filtered through a modern electronic lens. The debut album Blips & Bleeps, released on Paper-Cuts in 2025, brings these elements together across a cohesive eight-track collection, recognised by Resident Advisor and Mixmag as among the year’s best albums.
A series of debut live dates followed at Tresor / Globus Büro Siebzig, Heidi Museum of Modern Art and un:send (2025–26), alongside a limited number of club shows, with further dates in the UK and EU from May-September 2026.

Radart is an alias of Naarm/Melbourne-based producer, designer, and label head Dylan Batelic. Founder of the DIY imprint and party series Paper-Cuts, Dylan has also been known for his work as Sunflower Aquarium, with both projects typifying the resurgence of turn-of-the-century chillout music coming out of Naarm in recent years. Dylan’s debut LP as Radart, an eight-track collection of ambient, downtempo, breaks and more taken from selected works made between 2022-2024, was released under the name ‘Blips & Bleeps’ in 2025. Balearic-inspired beats, drifting acid and trip-hop nostalgia come together with detailed sound design and immaculate arrangements, everything in its right place. This is an opportunity to tune into a different frequency at this year’s Horst Festival.

Compiled from works created between 2022 and 2024, it reveals an artist comfortable shifting between ambient textures, downtempo grooves and broken beats. The album opens with the atmospheric washes of 'Prelude' before moving into the driving rhythms of 'Attack'. 'Trip Planet' lives up to its name, a cosmic swirl of synths and beats. Elsewhere, '301' and 'Soil Test' delve into more experimental territory, while tracks like 'Welcome' and 'Wish' offer moments of unexpected melodic beauty. Marking their tenth release, Melbourne-based record label Paper-Cuts gear up to issue the highly anticipated ‘Blips & Bleeps‘ album from label boss Dylan Batelic, better known as Radart.
Previously known as Sunflower Aquarium, Batelic presents his debut album ‘Blips & Bleeps‘, a pilgrimage through uncharted auditory landscapes, painting a vivid portrait of post-party reveries and sunlit introspection. Consisting of 8-tracks, ‘Blips & Bleeps’ defies categorisation, stitching together cinematic chuggers, ethereal ambient textures and acid-drenched downtempo grooves into a seamless patchwork.
Among the standouts is ‘Attack’, a trip-hop anthem steeped in dubby resonance and bass-heavy kinetics. This month, Globus is hosting bands from a different label every Thursday at Tresor for the Büro Siebzig series.
